: Eve Torres to play “Maxima” on upcoming episode of Supergirl :

Comic fans rejoice! Soror and former WWE Diva, Eve Torres Gracie, member of the chartering class at Phi Chapter, will guest star on the April 11th episode of Supergirl as the comic book character, Maxima!

According to ComicBook.com, Maxima is a character in the DC Comic universe first introduced in September 1989.

Maxima is from planet Almerac, where her family is royalty, and she comes to Earth to pursue a suitable mate: Superman. When the Man of Steel rejects her offer (several times), she seeks revenge against him. In the New 52, Maxima is now an LGBT character. The new and improved version of Maxima debuted in Supergirl #36 (November 2014). She feels the weight of the world on her shoulders to find a mate, so she can help repopulate her planet, but her true desire is to be with a woman, like Supergirl!

A description for the episode, released by the network CSB says the episode will feature the return of super-villains Non and Indigo as well as the guest appearance of Eve as Maxima.

“Myriad” – Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) use mind control to turn National City’s citizens into their own army, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, April 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
