Dr. Hernandez at the Morehouse School of Medicine Presents on Community Health

We’d like to congratulate Dr. Natalie Hernandez for doing great work at the Morehouse School of Medicine last fall with several presentations for the community:

  • Assistant Professor Natalie Hernandez, PhD, MPH gave a presentation entitled “Translating Research into Action with Communities.” This presentation is a part of the Clinical and Translation Research Seminar Series and was sponsored by the Master of Science in Clinical Research Program.
  • Dr. Hernandez also gave a talk on “Flipping the Script: Increasing Urban Minority Residents’ Capacities to Engage as Equal or Senior Partners in behavioral and Clinical Research” at the 2016 APHA Conference in Denver.
  • Finally she spoke about “Using Community Based Participatory Research to address Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Unintended Pregnancies” in December 20th, 2016.

Dr. Hernandez became a member of Omega Phi Beta in Spring 1998 as a Chartering Member of our Theta Chapter in Stony Brook University. She is currently a member of the Faculty at the Morehouse School of Medicine with a focus on Community Health & Preventive Medicine.
